Chocolate Chip Cafe Cookies…Best Ever!

I stumbled upon this recipe a year ago.  They are a favorite for everyone that experiences the deliciousness on first bite! I make them larger than the average cookie to set them apart.  I even won a “Throw Down” competition at work for Best Chocolate Chip Cookie!  Enjoy the recipe!

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, Melted
  • 1 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 TBS Vanilla
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips

1. Sift: Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt is bowl, set aside

2. Cream: Butter, Brown Sugar, White Sugar until blended

3. Beat in: Vanilla, Egg, and Egg Yolk until light and creamy

4. Mix in: Sifted ingredients until just blended

5. Stir in: Milk Chocolate Chips

6. Drop cookies 1/4 cup on baking sheet with parchment paper

7. Bake 13 minutes until light and golden

  • Convection Temp: 325 (350 non-convection)
  • 18 Big Cookies
